"Love Vessels"
Possible relics of a dry, arid world, these coiled and carved vessels in black clay have nerikomi decoration and similarities which suggest they were made as a pair. They are glazed internally to hold liquid but together they form an embracing sculpture, suggestive of a couple or a life-long bond.
