“This large vessel probably contained the dried foliage of a revered tree. Following the 3rd millennium’s warming, some surviving trees were held as sacred and even fallen leaves preserved. The original sealed top has broken off. Form and decoration suggest the hot, whirling winds that scour the Earth.”
